Minicourse

(one 50-minute class)
Language acquisition is more than an abstract intellectual process; it occurs within a cultural context. In addition to the language classes described above, all students take a daily class in Mexican culture, in order to develop understanding of the cultural reality in which they are immersed and are learning to communicate.
We offer a series of one-hour minicourses, Monday through Friday, aimed at helping you understand the roots of Latin American culture while furthering your abilities in Spanish.
Our main bulletin board lists the minicourses offered each week. Special minicourses can be tailored to suit the needs of any group (minimum of ten students).
