Registration begins every Monday of the year. Although the minimum length
of study is one week, we strongly recommend one month of study.
Our complete intensive study program is offered for 12-16 weeks and includes
the most basic to advanced levels of Spanish.

Note: The Fenix Language Program covers all levels, from the most basic to the most advanced. Personal attention begins the moment you join the program. During an initial interview, we evaluate your current proficiency and, based on these results, place you in one of our Spanish groups.

The Spaniards founded the city of Zacatecas in 1546 and the nearby village of Chalchihuites ten years later. These two locations, one provincial and one rural, represent Mexico’s historic past and are currently sources of Mexican migration to the United States. Together, they offer an incomparable opportunity for bilingual education teachers and students of bilingual education to understand the complex mix of social, religious, economic and political reasons that explain why rural people emigrate from Mexico to the United States.
